The day I bought my first platinum jewellery, I was on my way back home from work. My first job was one that I had always dreamed of, and every day as I walked to and fro, I felt glad to be living my dream. The journey getting here had been a rollercoaster ride and I wouldn’t have had it any other way. I was lost in my train of thought when, from the corner of my eye, I spotted it. The necklace had a series of wheels attached to one another – Platinum Mystic Wheels is what it was called. It spoke to me. It spoke to the part of me that constantly stayed motivated, that pushed me to go further and explore my potential. After all, I was charting my own journey, and the Mystic Wheels seemed like an apt symbol of that. So I went ahead and got the necklace, just like that. I made the decision on my own, I didn’t ask for anyone’s permission. It was a call I made. And I am so happy I did.
This was the very first piece of precious jewellery that I had bought for myself. I didn’t wait for anyone to gift it to me, I didn’t even ask anyone to buy it for me. There was no special occasion that day, but I do think celebrating myself and my journey is reason enough. My Platinum Evara was a mark of how I had grown and come into my own.
